From Greenville, Spartanburg, and Atlanta:
I-85 to
Gastonia-321 to Boone-In Boone, take 105 S for 12
miles. Smoketree will be on right. Approximately 4
1/2 hours from Atlanta, 2 from Spartanburg, and 3
from Greenville.
From Asheville:
40 East to Hwy 70
Old Fort exit-go to Marion-take 221 North to
Linville. In turn left onto 105 N-go 5 miles. Smoketree Lodge is on the left hand side of highway.
Approximately 2 hours.
From Highlands or Sapphire
Valley:
64 to 25 in Asheville-25 to 40E follow
directions from Asheville. |

From Greensboro, Winston
Salem, Raleigh-Durham, Etc:
I-40 W to 421 N to
Boone-In Boone turn left on to 105 South-follow 105
for 12 miles. e right.
Approximately 3 hours from Greensboro.
From Charlotte:
I-85 S to Gastonia. 321 into Boone-In Boone take 105
South-follow 105 South for 12 miles. Smoketree Lodge is on
the right. Approximately 3 hours.
From Knoxville:
I-40 to I-81 North to Kingsport-In Kingsport take I-26E to
Johnson City-In Johnson City take Exit 31 onto 321. Follow
321 to Hampton, Tn-Take 19E into NC-1 mile across NC State
Line take a left onto 194N. When arrive at first red light
take a right onto 184. When you arrive at the next light
take a left onto 105N. Smoketree Lodge is 1 mile down on the
left. Approximately 3 hours.
From Gatlinburg:
Follow 441N to 66-then take 40E-then same directions from
Knoxville-or-441 to 411to Newport then 411/321 to Johnson
City-Directions from Johnson City not interstate
Approximately 2 1/2 hours.
From Columbia, SC:
I-26 W to I-77 N to I-85 S to Gastonia. In Gastonia, take
321 N. to Boone. In Boone, take hwy 105 S. Smoke Tree Lodge
will be 12 miles on the right.
